RE-EXPORT IN BOND · FTWZ · TRANSSHIPMENT · MERCHANTING

India as your duty-free trading hub.

Import from one country, hold the goods in an Indian customs-bonded warehouse or FTWZ, and re-export to a buyer in another country without paying Indian import duty. It's specialised, paperwork-heavy work, and very few forwarders in India run it end to end. We do.

HOW IT MOVES

Import. Hold in bond. Re-export.

Cargo lands in India from anywhere, waits in a customs-bonded warehouse without paying Indian duty, then ships out to a buyer in another country. We file every step, from the into-bond bill of entry to the re-export shipping bill.

FROM OUR FILES

One export. Eight journeys.

A steel tube mill for West Africa combined Indian manufacturing with specialised components from seven countries. We set up a customs bonded warehouse inside the port, consolidated every component there and exported it as one complete machine.

On the right: how a typical lot-by-lot re-export runs.

Day 0 Container ships from Shanghai to Nhava Sheva. YAM files the into-bond bill of entry.
Day 21 Arrives and is deposited in a bonded warehouse. No duty is paid.
Day 35 First buyer confirms. One-third is re-exported to Mombasa under Section 69.
Day 60 Second lot is relabelled for the buyer and shipped.
Day 80 Final lot is shipped and the bond is closed. Total Indian import duty: ₹0.
